NEWS ROUNDUP — Loubel plans drilling

A 5,000-ft. drilling program is planned for the Chassignole gold property in La Pause Twp. in northwestern Quebec.

Gilles Fiset, president of Loubel Exploration (ME), says trenching and sampling during the summer returned gold and copper values at the property, which is crossed by the Porcupine-Destor break. The company uncovered a wide quartz-carbonate-fushite alteration zone which, Fiset says, is coincident with a geochemical gold anomaly discovered during a reverse-circulation drilling program.
