Drilling has resumed on the Hislop Twp. gold property near Matheson, Ont., of Glimmer Resources (VSE) and Hemlo Gold Mines (TSE).
The partners plan to drill eight holes, one to test a geophysical anomaly under Hwy. 101 and the next seven to follow up and expand the three known mineralized zones on the property.
The partners hope to find at least another 500,000 tons of reserves to add to the 1.08 million tons grading 0.34 oz. per ton that have already been delineated.
George Kent, president of Glimmer and its major shareholder, has exercised his option to purchase 85,000 shares at 70 cents per share. Glimmer, which holds a 40% interest in the project, traded recently at 60 cents.
