NEWS ROUNDUP — Dynacor plans drilling program

A private placement of shares has allowed Mines Dynacor (ME) to raise $50,000 to undertake a small surface drilling program at its Siscoe gold project near Val d’Or, Que.

The company, which changed its name from Maufort Resources, is drilling the Main and Siscoe zones which outcrop on surface. The drill program will total 1,450 ft.

Dynacor is hoping to prove up reserves for an open-pit operation at the former producing property. Also to be included in such an operation would be the mining of the crown pillar of the C zone.
