NEWS ROUNDUP — Copperstone expands Mexican ground

Junior Copperstone Resources (VSE) has acquired an interest in five additional exploration concessions in Baja California Sur, Mexico.

Two of these adjoin the company’s existing concession interests, in the Santa Rosalia area, and fall under Copperstone’s original agreement with Island-Arc Resources (VSE).

That agreement gives Island-Arc a 20% carried interest in the claims until six months after a production decision is made.

The three other concessions are half-owned by Copperstone, with Island-Arc retaining the right to back-in for a 50% working interest in Copperstone’s interest.

A 5,000-metre drilling program is expected to get under way in October, to test sediment-hosted copper targets.
