NEWS ROUNDUP — Cathedral assays Kaburi project

Assays of channel samples from Cathedral Gold’s (VSE) Kaburi-Eldorado project in Guyana have proved interesting.

Ten trenches were used to test a 650-metre section of the 1,500-metre-long Hicks shear zone. Results range from a lower-grade intersection of 1.12 grams gold per tonne over 9 metres to the highest intersection of 28.5 grams over 2 metres. Typical intersections grade around 7 grams over 8 metres. The project, 35 km northwest of the producing Omai gold mine, has two other known gold zones. Evaluation of all three is continuing.
