Partners Freewest Resources Canada (TSE) and Murgor Resources (ME) have discovered a new gold zone on the Lac Pusticamica property in Quebec’s Benoist Twp.
A drill hole intersected gold mineralization in a shear fracture lying south of, and parallel to, the Pusticamica zone. One 7.9-metre section at a depth of 250 metres returned 7.06 grams gold per tonne.
The partners extended the Pusticamica zone down to 350 metres, with intersections at lower levels of 12.7 metres grading 1.62 grams, and 7 metres grading 3.57 grams.
Two targets derived from an induced polarization study will be drilled after spring breakup.
