Sticking to its practice of exploring mainly in areas with which it is familiar, Tri Origin Explorations (TOE-T) has decided to look for promising properties in Nevada.
Based in Aurora, Ont., the company has a stable of properties in the northern region of the province, as well as in New South Wales, Australia.
President Robert Valliant, who managed U.S. exploration for Lac Minerals from 1981 to 1988, is already familiar with Nevada, and Tri Origin’s new exploration manager there, Robert Thomas, has worked in Nevada and the adjoining states for more than 20 years.
The company has two exploration targets in mind: large, low-grade deposits suited to open-pit mining; and small, high-grade deposits with potential, to be mined from underground.
The company hopes to have two projects under way in Nevada by mid-summer.
