Having completed several drill holes on its 5,300-acre Northbelt gold property, near Yellowknife, N.W.T., Nebex Resources (ASE) is conducting induced polarization (IP) surveys.
The surveys are being carried out to evaluate further the NGX zone, Shear 20 and the Kidder zone.
A new IP system, capable of locating disseminated sulphide concentrations down to depths of 2,000 ft., is being used.
Once the surveys are complete, the anomalies will be evaluated and, if warranted, drill-tested.
In New Brunswick, the company has acquired 24 claims, comprising 960 acres, near the Key Anacon property where Rio Algom (TSE) recently discovered a zone of massive sulphide mineralization.
Nebex also reports that Teck (TSE) is carrying out a downhole, pulse electromagnetic (EM) survey on its Brunswick Extension property which adjoins the Brunswick No. 12 base metal deposit. Teck is earning a 51% interest in the property from Nebex.
