Alberta-listed Nebex Resources plans to carry out drilling on three gold properties in Yellowknife, N.W.T., and on two gold and base metal properties in New Brunswick.
Near Yellowknife, Lac Minerals (TSE) has been exploring Nebex’s Walsh Lake project. Lac will start a drill program after freeze-up, using two rigs. Fifteen targets, delineated with a deep-penetration induced-polarization (IP) survey, will be tested.
Nebex is also planning to drill several targets on the Northbelt and the Oro Lake projects near Yellowknife.
In New Brunswick, drilling will be carried out on the Millstream and Canoe Lake properties. At Millstream, a major structure was identified and several drill targets were defined using an IP survey.
Drilling will also be conducted at the Canoe Lake property, which hosts a polymetallic deposit with a mineral inventory of 22.8 million tons averaging 0.04 oz. gold and 1.05 oz. silver per ton, 1.8% zinc, 0.6% copper and 0.64% lead.
