Minnova/Syngold find ore grade gold at Donalda

The first 477 ft of a planned 1,450-ft drift on the 900-ft level of the property, averaged 0.22 oz gold per ton across an average width of 5.9 ft in the No 1 vein. This grade compares with the 0.25 oz gold grade assigned to the reserve block of 517,000 tons outlined in the No 1 vein.

Four flat drill holes completed from the 900-ft level intersected the Donalda No 1 vein and returned encouraging results. These include 6 ft grading 0.38 oz gold and 6 ft grading 1.86 oz gold. Another hole cut 0.33 oz gold across 6 ft. The holes, Syngold says, demonstrate the potential for increasing reserves on the property.

On the 1,230-ft level, a crosscut is approaching the No 1 vein. Drilling from the crosscut to locate the vein is expected to start shortly.

Upon completion of the underground program, the partners plan to have a feasibility study finished by the second half of this year. Drill- indicated reserves in the Donalda No 1 and No 2 veins total 804,000 tons grading 0.25 oz gold.
