An 8-hole drilling program operated by Minnova Inc. (TSE) is under way on the OK I and OK II claims in the Adams Lake area of British Columbia.
Minnova can earn a 60% interest in the property from Algo Resources (VSE) by spending $1 million and making a further cash payment of $100,000. The property is located adjacent to the Minnova/Rea Gold Samatosum deposit where mill construction is in progress.
The first six holes of the 2,300-ft drill program will test the mineralized quartz vein known as the Scarlet zone which has been exposed over a 98-ft x 49-ft area.
Algo says panel sampling of the irregular shaped zone has yielded positive results. Sixteen panels were sampled over the zone with assays returning values to 23% lead with 6.42 oz silver per ton.
