MINING IN MEXICO — Int’l Curator drilling copper-cobalt

An 8,000-metre drill program consisting of 80 vertical HQ holes is near completion by International Curator Resources (TSE) on the company’s Boleo copper-cobalt project in Baja California Sur, Mexico.

In addition to drilling, the company will complete extensive metallurgical test work.

The property hosts a 4-by-15-km stratiform copper-cobalt deposit within flat lying volcanic tuffs and sediments. Previous drilling completed in 1993 indicates the mineralization is hosted within thick beds that are amenable to open-cut mining techniques.

The property hosts a geological resource of 154 million tons containing 4.3 billion lb. copper and 250 million lb. cobalt.

The objectives of this program are to establish broad limits for the open-pit resource and to upgrade the known inferred resources to drill-indicated reserves.

As well, International Curator hopes to expand the global reserve base at the property by exploring new areas.

The metallurgical samples will provide needed information on the characteristics of the primary (sulphide) ore and secondary (oxide) ore.
