MacLean Engineering and Marketing, the Collingwood, Ont.-based supplier of underground mining equipment has announced the introduction of its new Mine Mate series scissor truck to the Canadian market.
Deemed the “first unit of its kind” by MacLean, the SL3-033 combines forward shift and side shift along with Remote Drilling System (RDS) capabilities, allowing the operator to remain on the unit while using the RDS.
The first unit was delivered to FNX Mining’s (FNX-T, FNXMF-O) Mc- Creedy West nickel-copper mine, in the Sudbury basin.
MacLean Engineering and Marketing has been designing, developing and producing mining technology for 30 years.
