As a regular reader of The Northern Miner, I often read articles submitted by a George Miller, the president of the Mining Association of Canada. Could he be the same George Miller who at one time was a bureaucrat in the Trudeau government and on whose recommendation the government gave $350 million during the early 1980s to Chile and Peru to aid in the development of their copper mining industry?
