Would you believe that the exploration departments of many junior and senior mining firms do not acknowledge letters of proposals or submissions from prospectors, promoters and geologists?
As time marches on, exploration honchos with many firms are becoming more and more indifferent about responding to these proposals. It is a pity because it is a disservice to their staff and to the firm that pays them for the sole reason of locating, or leading them to, a deposit.
Exploration departments must receive scads of proposals for properties and ventures. No doubt, many of these sound sort of wacky at the time, but no matter, all proposals should be acknowledged. It is courteous to do so and is a sound business policy not to be apathetic to contacts.
