Letter to the editor The Saga of Rosa Brown

The ex-Kirkland Lakers, spearheaded by emcee and “stand-up comic,” Brian Anderson, had such a good time that they insisted on a repeat performance for all those who missed the first presentation.

This special performance will take place Sunday, Feb 12 at 3 p.m.

Again, Charlotte Moore will play the indomitable Rosa (Canada’s original bag lady.)

The lyrics and music were written by a talented young musician, Leslie Arden and the work was commissioned by the Laidlaw Foundation.

The performance will take place at The George Ignatieff Theatre, 15 Devonshire Place, (south of Varsity Stadium), tickets $15. To reserve phone (416) 925-0284.

Do join us for another celebration of Northern Ontario and a visit with other ex-Kirkland Lakers at a reception after the show. Ruth Morawetz Artistic Director Classical Cabaret Toronto, Ont.
