The second-page photograph accompanying the story “Joe Mann’s reserves on the rise” (T.N.M., Oct. 7/96) depicts a concentrating table, not a Knelson concentrator. The table is used as a means of upgrading; the primary concentrate is produced by the Knelson concentrator.
A Knelson concentrator is a centrifugal separator that combines enhanced gravity with a patented fluidization process.
