Letter to the editor B.C. questionnaires

The British Columbia Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources has engaged the University of Victoria Centre for Public Sector Studies to conduct an evaluation of the FAME Program sponsored by the British Columbia government over the past several years. As part of this evaluation, we have sent questionnaires to 41 operating mining companies, 288 mineral exploration companies and 263 prospectors.

I would like to remind those of your readers who have received questionnaires that their responses are important to the evaluation and to ask them to give it their attention sometime soon if they have not already done so. Also, we have some out-of-date addresses. Anyone who believes that he should be included in the survey but has not yet received a questionnaire is invited to call me collect at (604) 721-8083.
