The mining environment database developed by the Laurentian University Library provides more than 4,000 references to journal articles, books and government reports on abandoned mines and land reclamation.
International in scope, topics include reclamation planning, design and costs, disposal of hazardous wastes and mine closure techniques. Access to the database is free with the exception of long distance costs and charges for photocopy, delivery or fax.
