Canada’s largest trading partner in Latin America is Mexico, reports the Export Development Corp. (EDC), which recently announced the conclusion of a technology-based sale by a Canadian exporter to Mexico under a line of credit established between EDC and Pemex, the Mexican state-owned oil company.
EDC is Canada’s official export credit agency responsible for providing export credit insurance, loans, guarantees and other financial services to promote Canadian export trade.
