LAST BUT NOT LEAST — Manor to drill Virginia targets

Having completed geophysics and soil sampling, Manor Resources (ASE) plans to begin drilling at its Virginia gold property near Gander, Nfld.

The surveys identified four zones of potential mineralization southeast of the initial discovery.

The discovery was made in 1992 when two areas of high-grade mineralization were uncovered during trenching in the A-2 zone. The first mineralized area in A-2 is hosted in a sheared gabbro. Grab samples from the area assayed as high as 3.5 oz. gold per ton. The second area of mineralization is a 100-ft.-wide, sheared and veined zone which has yielded as much as 0.25 oz. The drilling will test A-2 as well as the four geophysical and geochemical anomalies.
