Exploration work is under way on the Hearne group of claims in the Babine Lake district of British Columbia.
Booker Gold Explorations (VSE) is conducting a magnetometer survey in an effort to locate targets similar to the Chapman zone, where previous drilling intersected 2.21% copper and 0.04 oz. gold per ton over a 250-ft.-long intersection.
The Chapman zone is a breccia pipe with a magnetometer signature measuring 100 by 110 ft. It remains open at depth.
To date, seven new magnetometer anomalies have been located. The company has mobilized a drill crew to begin preparing the site.
