LABRADOR NEWS ROUNDUP — Okak Bay being drill-tested

Drilling has begun on the Okak Bay property in the Voisey Bay area of Labrador.

Castle Rock Exploration (VSE) and United Compass Resources (VSE) are each earning a 35% interest in the property from Newfoundland Mining & Exploration.

The work involves testing an airborne and ground geophysical anomaly coincident with sampling values of as high as 1.76% nickel, 1.34% copper and 0.21% cobalt.

Castle Rock is mobilizing a drill rig to its wholly owned NBK property northwest of Webb Bay, where an initial 6-hole program is planned.

Airborne and ground electromagnetic surveys, along with surface prospecting, have outlined six conductors associated with anomalous nickel-copper-cobalt values on the property.

Connecticut Development (VSE) holds the right to back-in for a 10% interest.
