Jarvis Resources drilling Mallard Twp. gold property

Initial drill results from Jarvis Resources'(VSE) Mallard Twp. property in northern Ontario have returned anomalous gold values.

Five diamond drill holes were recently completed as part of an ongoing exploration program on the property, which is located six miles northwest of the Jerome Gold mine.

The best results from the first five holes included 6 ft grading 0.21 oz and 11.2 ft grading 0.192 oz gold per ton. Other significant results were 6 ft of 0.15 oz and 2.6 ft of 0.12 oz gold.

Gold mineralization is hosted by a silicified mafic tuff and is associated with pyrite. The mineralization is reported to be free-milling. The company says metallurgical testing will be conducted on samples of drill core containing mineralization.

Jarvis Resources reports a current cash balance of $500,000 and no debt.
