Toronto-based International Platinum Corp. (TSE) has optioned more platinum properties in the United States.
The first is a 47-claim property covering some 2.9 miles of the layered Picket Pin reef located in the upper central part of the Stillwater Complex in Montana.
The Picket Pin reef is 9 miles northwest of the Stillwater platinum- palladium mine and lies about 1.9 miles stratigraphically above the Johns Manville reef.
The company is currently compiling all previous geological data from the area in preparation for a drill program to be carried out next spring.
The second acquisition is comprised of three properties totalling 3,680 acres underlain by the Duluth layered mafic intrusive complex in Minnesota.
