After a brief winter shutdown, Inland Gold and Silver (NASDAQ) started mining operations at its Toiyabe project in central Nevada. The modest-sized heap leach operation is expected to produce about 6,000 oz. gold in 1991. To date, the 34,000-acre Toiyabe property has yielded a total of 74,000 oz. gold.
