A geological laboratory at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto will receive $160,000 from the provincial government to continue its research in the age-dating of rocks and minerals.
The Jack Satterly Geochronology Lab is internationally renowned for its research in the field of high-precision isotopic dating and microsampling. It opened in 1975 and is named after a former Ontario government geologist.
