Golden Pond ruling

Golden Pond Resources is the victor in an arbitration ruling which ruled in the company’s favor following a dispute with A-Pri-Or Mining. The latter company claims that Golden Pond had lost its rights and interest in the Lamaque property for failure to provide a letter of credit showing that Golden Pond had secured funding for exploration on the property. The Lamaque property, near Val d’Or, Que., is held under option from Teck Corp.

Golden Pond argued that the company had arranged financing through a combination of flow- through share offerings and private placements.
