Giegerich to speakat CIM luncheon

Hank Giegerich, former president of Cominco Alaska, will address the audience at a luncheon meeting, April 25, at Toronto’s Royal York Hotel. The gathering is sponsored by the Toronto branch of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum. Giegerich will highlight problems of access to isolated mine sites and the solutions adopted at three major Arctic mine properties in which he was involved — the Black Angel mine in Greenland, the Polaris mine in Canada’s Arctic islands and the Red Dog project in Alaska.
