In March, 1996, about 20,000 visitors from the Commonwealth of Independent States, together with representatives of major mining companies from around the world, are expected to converge in Russia’s capital to learn more about that country’s mining industry.
The First Moscow International Mining Exhibition, also known as MIN-TEK ’96, is described as the “gateway to opportunities in the Russian resource bonanza.” The event, to be held March 19-22, is being sponsored by Russia’s Ministry for Fuel and Energy.
Companies interested in Russia’s fossil and mineral wealth will have the opportunity to meet potential business partners and buyers for their mining-related equipment and services.
