An option to earn a 60% interest in 18 claims adjoining ground where Murgor Resources (VSE) made a gold discovery has been acquired by Freewest Resources Canada (TSE).
Freewest can earn the interest from Orient Resources (ME) by paying the latter $10,000 and giving it 75,000 Freewest shares. In addition, the junior must spend $250,000 on exploration before January, 1998.
Freewest will start exploring the property in Barry Twp. in northwestern Quebec shortly.
