Finning International (FTT-T, FINGF-O), the world’s largest Caterpillar (CAT-N) dealer, is celebrating 75 years in business.
The story started in 1933, when Earl Finning incorporated Finning Tractor Equipment Co. in Vancouver with only six employees and a $50,000 bank loan. The company, which holds to a philosophy of “we service what we sell,” now boasts annual revenue of over $5 billion and 13,000 employees working on three continents.
“This is a proud occasion and an important milestone for Finning and Caterpillar,” said Finning International president and CEO Doug Whitehead.
Finning sells, rents and services equipment in Western Canada, the U.K., Argentina, Bolivia, Chile and Uruguay.
