A technical team from Aquaterre Mineral Development (AQT-V) is carrying out a due diligence review of the Doby gold project in Elko Cty., Nev.
The Vancouver-based junior and its consultants will review data provided by the vendor and previous operator. The property is reported to contain a resource of 250,000 to 300,000 oz., which is described as “drill- established and minable.”
Previous metallurgical testing indicates that recoveries of 68-70% can be obtained from heap-leach mining and processing techniques.
The property is relatively unexplored and believed to be prospective for near-surface oxide gold deposits, as well as deep-seated sulphide bodies.
The Doby project is situated in the Jerritt Canyon trend.
