EAG extends mineralization

Drilling on Emerging Africa Gold’s (EAGI-C) gold property in Guinea has returned some encouraging results.

The best intersections from the Gobele vein assayed 14.9 grams gold per tonne over 27.5 metres and 11.7 grams gold over 20 metres. Nearly half the sections sent for assay from the 20-hole program returned grades of more than 2 grams per tonne.

The drill program was designed to test known mineralization within the oxide zone and examine stockwork mineralization at depth.

Meanwhile, geochemical work has extended the area of mineralization on both the Gobele and Jean veins. The Gobele vein is estimated to extend for at least 1,500 metres, while the estimated strike length of the Jean vein has doubled.

The property is a joint venture between Emerging Africa and Semafo.
