DIAMOND PAGE — Afridi Lake proves barren

Drilling by Pinewood Resources (PNW-V) at a property in the Afridi Lake area of the Northwest Territories has failed to encounter any kimberlite.

Prior to drilling, the Vancouver-based junior evaluated 11 airborne electromagnetic geophysical targets with ground geophysics. However, the targets that were drill-tested showed only metasedimentary rocks hosting zones of graphitic mineralization.

Ownership of the 12,900-acre property is held by Pinewood, with 75%, and Central Minera, with 25%.
