DIAMOND NEWS ROUNDUP — MIT looks to Botswana

Junior MIT Ventures (MVC-V) plans to explore for diamonds in northeastern Botswana.

The company will earn a 51% stake in 1,760 sq. km of prospective ground in Botswana from London-based Lion Mining Finance. In return, it must issue 50,000 shares and spend $250,000 on exploration over the next 18 months.

In a soil and stream sediment sampling program, MIT will collect at least one sample from every square kilometre.
