Geophysical surveys are under way at the Turgeon joint venture of Cyprus Canada and Glen Auden Resources (CDN) in Quebec.
Airborne magnetic and electromagnetic data have been reprocessed, and 17.2 km of magnetic and 11.5 km of induced-polarization coverage have been added to the information base at the property, which lies 95 km west of Matagami.
The 170-claim project is 20 km west of Cyprus’ Fenelon A gold discovery, where intersections with up to 37 grams gold per tonne were drilled between December 1994 and April 1995. Glen Auden is earning a half interest in the Turgeon claims by providing $600,000 in exploration funds over four years.
