Crown Butte has three rigs at Miller Creek discovery

Hole 89-334 intersected a 10-ft interval grading 0.150 oz gold, 0.74 oz silver and 0.55% copper. The best result was a 54.5-ft interval grading 1.060 oz gold (0.690 oz cut), 2.02 oz silver and 3.15% copper from 183.5-238 ft in hole 89-295C. Other intervals from this hole are 15.5 ft of 0.110 oz gold, 1.24 oz silver and 0.95% copper and 13.5 ft of 0.252 oz gold, 1.53 oz silver and 0.89% copper.

Hole 295C is 105 ft east of hole 275 which returned 20 ft grading 0.998 oz gold and 35 ft of 1.089 oz gold uncut. A number of recent holes had no significant assays and these are interpreted to have determined the eastern limit of the Miller Creek zone.

Before making the new discovery in the Miller Creek area, the New World project was reported to have geological reserves of 2.3 million tons grading 0.111 oz gold, 0.45 oz silver and 0.72% copper in the Como and McLaren areas. According to David Rovig, president of Crown Butte, this mineral resource is potentially open-pittable.

One diamond drill rig is still working in the Como area, drilling a large diameter metallurgical sample hole. However, other work is now winding down for the season.

Crown Butte and Noranda Exploration plan to calculate new reserve figures for the project this winter that will incorporate data accumulated this season from 8 core holes and 180 reverse circulation holes (for a total of 41,001 ft of drilling).
