Court dismisses U.S. Gold application

The application by U.S. Gold (NASDAQ) for a limited rehearing of the appeal of Justice Hinds’ decision has been dismissed by the British Columbia Court of Appeal. Hinds’ decision had turned control of the board of Atlanta Gold (TSE) over to nominees of U.S. Gold. The subsequent appeal then returned control to the Atlanta slate. With its litigations behind it, Atlanta’s board indicated that the company can now concentrate on bringing the Atlanta property into production.
