Correction (August 26, 1996)

In our coverage of United Keno Hill Mines (UKH-T) and its exploration of the Elsa properties in the Yukon (T.N.M., Aug. 19/96), we incorrectly reported that environmental and other permits had, for the most part, been approved in order for production to resume. We should have stated, rather, that all environmental documentation has been submitted by the company to the appropriate authorities.

Upon passing the environmental screening process, the company will submit an application to the Yukon Territory Water Board for a licence to bring the silver-lead-zinc holdings back into production.
