Corona increases Stikine holdings

A recent offer to minority shareholders of Stikine Resources resulted in International Corona (TSE) and its affiliates holding 55% of the issued and outstanding shares of Stikine.

Stikine owns 50% of the Eskay Creek project north of Stewart, B.C. Prime Resources Group (VSE) owns the other 50%.

Corona is in the process of being acquired by Homestake Mining (TSE) by way of a share exchange. Homestake’s offer to acquire all of Corona’s outstanding common and first preference shares is scheduled to expire on July 22, 1992.
