Corona buys shares in Golden Nevada

Among other projects, Golden Nevada, a Murray Pezim company, is active in the Yukon, where it is involved with Noranda Exploration, the operator, and Brenda Mines (TSE) at the Grew Creek gold-silver property 25 miles southeast of Faro.

Also, Corona reports it beneficially holds about 6.6 million shares, an 11.3% interest, in Prime Resources (VSE), another Pezim company. Prime Resources grew out of the amalgamation of Delaware Resources and Colossus Resource Equities.

Corona says it has the right and option to participate in up to one- third in any private placement of securities of Prime Resources. Also, the gold producer says it has the right of refusal to provide or arrange senior production financing in respect of any properties for which Prime Resources elects not to participate.
