Coeur d’Alene garners award

Idaho-based Coeur d’Alene Mines (NYSE) has been placed on the 1993 Honor Roll of the Star award by the National Environmental Development Association (NEDA) in the U.S.

The precious metals producer was one of 20 U.S. corporations to receive the award. It was selected on the basis of its environmental policy, pre-planning to avoid pollution, and community and government outreach programs. NEDA is a non-profit coalition of organized labor, agriculture and industry which undertakes projects related to environmental protection.
