COATS (over-the-counter) Gold Bar drops 25 cents

Posting a gain of 5 cents on the week was Card Lake Resources which closed at 35 cents on six transactions involving 32,700 shares. The company is selling its gold property in Harker Twp. Ont., to American Barrick Resources (see story). Another company with property interests in the Harker camp is Teddy Bear Valley Mines. Its shares also gained 5 cents to close at $1.50 on seven transactions. The Teddy Bear property is being explored under a joint venture agreement with Noranda Exploration.

A total of 23 transactions involving Carolin Mines clipped 17 cents off its price with the close at 63 cents . Carolin is taking a another look at the old Ladner Creek gold property near Hope, B.C., where a drill program is under way.

Results from recent drilling on Sindor Resources’ Big Indian property near Helena, Mont., had little affect on that stock. One recent hole intersected 50 ft of 0.27 oz gold per ton, but the Sindor issue shed 15 cents to close at 65 cents on volume of 13,000 shares. The property is being explored under a joint venture agreement with Westmont Gold, which can earn up to a 51% interest in the project.
