The Vancouver branch of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum is hosting a talk on automation and its impact on the mining industry.
Dr. Gregory Baiden, manager of mines research at Inco’s Ontario division, will discuss advances in research and development, as well as the history and economic impact of mine automation.
