Centurion strikes gold in Utah

Utah-based Centurion Mines (NASDAQ) has hit gold mineralization at its Blue Mountain property, 30 miles west of Milford, Utah. Two of four shallow drill holes encountered ore-grade mineralization, including 15 ft. grading 0.06 oz. gold per ton and 10 ft. grading 0.12 oz. per ton.

Rock-chip sampling identified a large gold anomaly measuring 3,000 by 500 ft. The samples yielded grades of up to 0.035 oz. per ton.

Centurion sees excellent potential in the property and plans further drilling later in the year.

The company controls 15,700 acres in several properties in the Milford area, as well as other properties throughout the state.
