Cartaway to venture beyond Cabot Lake

Drilling on the Cabot Lake North property in Labrador returned disappointing results for Cartaway Resources (ASE), which is earning a 70% interest from Freeport Resources (VSE).

Drilling, which has since been suspended, tested two conductors and encountered sulphides in both holes but returned no copper or nickel values.

Cartaway will next drill the Kyfanan Lake claims in southeastern Labrador, where it and Peruvian Gold (VSE) are earning a half interest from Royal Star Resources and the Hawk Syndicate. The drilling will test a strong conductor measuring 1 km long by 40 metres thick within layered, intrusive rocks.
