Aster investigates two gold showings

During recent exploration work, Aster Exploration (ME) discovered two encouraging gold indications on its Langloiserie property located southwest of Chibougamau, Que.

The first was uncovered at a depth of 198 ft, where a 2.3-ft section cut 1.2 oz gold per ton, the company says. Visible gold was observed.

The second was found at a depth varying between 230 ft and 492 ft. Gold and silver mineralization is reported. The company says the structure is about 260 ft thick and is located in a sulphide-rich zone.

A drilling and stripping program is planned for the property this year.

In other news, Aster reports the discovery of a gold-bearing structure on its Chibougamau-area Guercheville property, which is 50%-owned by Bay Resources & Services (ASE). Averaging more than 3 ft in width, the structure has a proven length of 245 ft and a depth of 560 ft. A drilling and stripping program is planned for this year.
