Toronto-based Arimathaea Resources (TSE) recently sold its 19.9% stake in Australian company Mid-East Minerals at an average of just over A30 cent per share, resulting in a net profit of US$990,000. The shares had been acquired in July and August for approximately US$825,000.
Arimathaea says proceeds of the sale will be used for acquisition and working capital purposes.
