AEG names Boyle an honorary member

Robert Boyle was elected an honorary member of the Association of Exploration Geochemists at the 13th international geochemical exploration symposium, recently held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He was the association’s president in 1976-77. A pioneer of geochemical exploration development in Canada, Boyle has contributed significantly to the establishment and advancement of geochemical methods in mineral exploration worldwide.

Boyle retired from the Geological Survey of Canada in 1985, but is still active in the profession he has served for decades.
